The annual Conch Show is back!
Featuring brand new work from locally grown talent.
The focus of the show will be Cuban American Painter Jorge Marrero—father of Gallery Owner, Michael Marrero. Jorge has been painting Key West scenes for over 25 years. Mostly known for his nature and landscape paintings, he is now capturing what remains of the old Key West shrimping fleet.
The show will also feature 8 newly released photographs from Michael Marrero. These will be an artist proof limited run of 20, showcasing the natural wonders of the Florida Keys.
Sketches and small paintings from E Del Valle will be on display. DelValle has been a sign painter in Key West for a full generation. He was a wizard at hand lettering in a time before photo processes made lettering a matter of machine. Notable signs are the Pan Am sign that hangs on the Caroline Street side of Kelly's Caribbean Restaurant and he did the sign work at Five Brothers.
