Yellow Show

Art Space bounds into spring with the premier of the color shows. Spring 2012 has sprung the Yellow Show is gleaming from the new space just of White Street at 1102 Truman Avenue . Everything is yellow in this eclectic group show full of diverse mediums and styles. The new contemporary gallery features themed shows and artwork from the mixed local art scene.

This months event features nearly 15 artists for the month long showing of the tawny artwork. March 29th is the opening night from 6-10pm with a full bar, live music, and a special pesentation of the ancient Turkish Artform- Marveling Ebru, in the outdoor courtyard.

The featured artist this month is newcomer to Key West, Corryn Leigh Young. Young's artwork is primarily figurative in subject matter, inspired by old family photos, religious iconography, and pop art. Corryn is showing along side Juan Ego, Pam Hobbs, Michelle Atkinson, Katie Crossland, Nicole Mclaughlin, Nick Doll, Jorge Marrero, Nick Bergery, Sherry Sweet T, and more.
